Tenth grade English students studied Shakespeare's Julius Caesar during my student teaching. As part of the final assessment of their understanding of the underlying universal concepts in that text, students had to design a final project demonstrating their understanding of at least three of the major themes and concepts that were addressed in this unit.

The YouTube video below was produced by three of my tenth-grade students. To demonstrate the ideas of manipulation and persuasion that are evident in Julius Caesar, these three students produced a modern form of manipulation--the infomercial.
